Are containers secure?
Container doors are designed for padlocks to lock them. Some storagecontainer units are equipped with lockboxes to make padlocks more secure and help prevent bolt cutters from reaching the locks. This added protection makes our moveable storage units ideal for job sites and temporary storage needs.
What is the different heights of containers?
- Rental and sale 40’ containers come in standard height, which is 8’6”, and high cube containers, which are 9’6” in height.
- All rental 20’ containers are standard height of 8’6”.
- There are some specialty 20’ containers that are 9’6”, but those units are for sale only.

If I purchase a container, what maintenance should I perform to keep it in good condition?
If you’re looking for a container trailer for sale, these tips will help protect your purchase.
- Lubricating door hinges helps to keep locking rods functioning smoothly, so doors open and close easily.
- Checking the roof occasionally to ensure there is no standing water is also recommended.
- Painting your container every few years will help maintain its appearance. We use industrial enamel paint. Areas with surface rust can be patched or cleaned with a grinder prior to painting.

What are one trip containers?
One-trip containers are considered new containers. They have made one voyage across the ocean carrying cargo. These units are available for purchase only and are often preferred by customers who want a cleaner shipping container with minimal wear.
Can I come look at containers on your yard before I purchase one?
Yes! Customers are welcome to visit our yard to view available units. Burt manages all container sales. Please call to set up a time, as he has responsibilities outside the office. He can walk you through sizes, grades, pricing, and options for both containers for sale and container trailers for rent.
What methods of payment do you accepts for rentals and purchases?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, & Discover), Checks, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, ACH/EFT payments, and Wire Transfers. *Personal checks may not be accepted for purchases.
For rentals, we can run cards automatically on a specific day each month through a secure platform and set up ACH transfers to run on a specific day each month for you. We can also provide banking info if needed so you can set up through your bank account. All payments mailed in should be mailed to PO Box 12446, Wilmington, NC 28405.
Can I purchase a container I have been renting?
Yes, you can. Please contact our office for the purchase price of your moveable storage units. If you think you might want to purchase the container before you start renting, please let us know so we can deliver something that will be in a price range you would agree with.
If I am renting a container and damages occur on my jobsite, who is responsible for the repair costs?
Customers are responsible for any damage that occurs while the container or trailer for storage container use is active. Repair costs will be billed once repairs are completed, either after the unit is returned or while it remains on rent.
Do you insure the contents I put in a container or trailer while it is on rent?
No, we do not offer insurance for stored contents. If you need coverage for items stored in moveable storage units and container trailers, insurance must be obtained through your own personal or business policy.
Do you provide locks for containers or trailers?
Yes, locks are available for an additional cost. Any standard padlock may also be used with our container trailers or storage units.
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes. Contact our office with the container size you need, the length of rental, and the job location. We provide free quotes for containers near me, trailer rental for storage, and portable storage trailers. All pricing is confidential. If you receive a competitive quote elsewhere, let us know, and we will see if we can match or beat it.
Can your drivers delivery to military bases in North Carolina?
